Description
Travel Basketball Tryouts 

Travel Volleyball
St. Joseph CYO participates in the CYO Nassau/Suffolk program; game dates and times will be provided to us when their schedule is complete. A link to the CYONS site will be posted. Practices will be posted on our site.

Travel Policy

In order to be eligible to try out for travel Volleyball, the player must satisfy one of the following requirements:
  • must reside within the St. Joseph Parish boundaries
    or
  • if residing outside the St. Joseph Parish boundaries, the player must have played in the intramural program for 2 years preceding the tryout date. Please note that St. Joseph CYO limits outside parish waivers at the discretion of the travel coordinator in consultation with the St. Joseph CYO Board.

Past participation is not a guarantee of a position on any travel team and players are encouraged to try out each season.

Intramural Requirement

Players in grades 4, 5 and 6 that are selected for a travel team are also required to participate in our intramural program. Players in grades 7 and 8 that are selected for a travel team have the option of also registering to play in the intramural program.

            Tryouts: prior to season. Dates and times will be posted.
            Schedule: provided by CYONS.
